Too Faced Matte Eye Shadow Collection (Review)

Too Faced Matte Eye Shadow Collection

Hi guys! I decided to make a review on the last eyeshadow pallete I got. Some friends of mine gave it to me on my birthday. I've had my eyes on this pallete for a long time, since I was really excited to try the “Too Faced” brand.

This pallete has 9 eye shadows, each pair of three is supposed to make a different look. Day, classic and fashion. It also came with three cards where it explains how to apply the shadows to achieve certain look. 3 of them are bigger (2g each) and the 6 left are smaller (0,9g each).
The selection of colours is really good and flexible, it allows you to make a lot of looks for different occasions.
The eyeshadows themselves are not powdery (there is not powder falling out), they’re soft and easy to apply. The pigmentation is average, so I recommend using a primer when applying it, so you can take full advantage of them, and want a fast application.
Despite the pigmentation, its easy to use them even without eyeprimer (if you don’t have one, or prefer not to use), you only need to take a little more time to build up them. Of course, as every eyeshadow, if you use a primer they’ll last a long time, but if you don’t, it will eventually start to fading after a few hours. Matte eyeshadows sometimes are difficult to blend, but I don’t see that problem with these ones.

The packing is adorable, as the entire makeup collection of “Too Faced”. It's not made of plastic or glass but still is safe and looks expensive. But it doesn't bring a brush as normally eyeshadow pallete do. The design has a really girly looking, the information is explicit and usefull. It's complact and travel friendly.

1- Fresh Linen; 2- Vintage Violet; 3- Midnight; 4- Velveteen Bunny; 5- Pebbles; 6- London Fog
7- Tuffed Suede; 8- Chinchilla; 9- Coffee Bean;
When I say the pigmentation is average, is not for every single one of them. The darkest colours are, of course, pigmented; but the lightest are not. Specially the “Velveteen Linen” and the “Fresh Linen”.

In terms of the quality of the eyeshadows I have to say that I prefer theBalm eyeshadows, they are a lot more pigmented and creamy, which makes the application easier. But despite that, I really like them, it’s hard to find a good matte pallete with a good selection of colours, which makes the "Too Faced" win.
I think this pallete is perfect for people, like me, which don’t have a lot of eyeshadows, since you can make a lot of different looks with it. It’s totally worth the money, especially if you want to invest in a good quality pallete you can use all the time. I personally use it almost every day and I’m pretty satisfied.
It is always nice to have an only matte eyeshadows pallete, I think is fundamental in a girl’s makeup collection, complements every look you want to make.

I think it's all for this review, if you have any question, or want more information, please leave a comment. Kisses :3
